I am looking for a period correct Radio for a 73 S if anyone has or knows of one.
I would also buy a tool kit, books and wallet.

The correct tool kit will depend on build date. The correct handbook and radio will depend on delivery country.
Wallets are available as repros (as are the handbooks) and of course much cheaper and easier to get than originals.

You should be able to pick up a Becker Mexico for around £500.00. Black surround not chrome.

My US 73 model year came with a Becker Europa II. It wasn't working so I sent it to Tadpole to have modern innards inserted. Disaster. Constant cut outs once it had been on for 15 minutes, poor ability to get signal, dreadful volume control (tiny movement went from zero volume to speaker blowing volume). I bought a 1972 (car build year) Blaupunkt Frankfurt on Early911sregistry from a chap in Holland, he sells lots of radios using the name Yellow356. £200 inc delivery & works beautifully. I have no relationship other than being a satisfied customer.
