TV, Endeavour: Everest BBC4

Post by mullerice »

I caught the first episode of this series on iPlayer this evening - fantastic documentary on BBC4 about a British expedition in the 70's to be the first to canoe down the river that runs off Everest. Amazingly shot with some great 'on-board' footage - no GoPro's here though! Dangerous too...

Thought some DDK'ers would be interested too...

I watched the one about climbing Everest without supplementary oxygen at 05:30 this morning and have just finished the hot air balloon one. Canoe one still to go. Quite an endevour of tv watching even if I say so myself. Well worth the risks though. :)
