My 66' Project #303717# Anna's car
Hello crew,
I m happy to start my restauration thread today.
Life gives some surprise and opportunity , so this is a story of my car.
I know it for 8 years and 1 years ago she became mine.
This is a 1966 LHD Sunroof 2L Swb. Vin #303717 and Motor #903881. Original color Ivory white #6604
This is a photo when i found it:
After some discuss, she moves to my garage to start her new life

For Kt , i m sorry i haven t any luggage, hard to find original set, problably a reproduction set.
Darren 65/ hillclimber = be sure photos come.
NickT = this car is complete today, the preview owner drive it on local opening race, just a litlle race configuration, rollcage non welded, 2 race seats, one set of Yokohama tires and one race steering wheel.
The mission for our division ( just 2 soldiers,me and my friend david at bodywork ) is à complète restauration, one objective : original color, original interior, rollcage, 4 original heart fuchs, some litlle détails, you re going to discover on this thread.
This is my first 911 car first Porsche too !

So here we go the first mission is to Check the différent point of the car on celette .
The second one is to change the front panel hardware , front beam fixation,and to put some fresh and new metal on the body.

That is very strange. The 717 certainly looks like it belongs there while the 846 has a very strange appearance unlike any I've seen before. It does look like the 846 is crossed out with the same crayon with which 717 is written. The certificate is missing the engine and transmission serial #'s normally found on a COA. It would be hard to prove matching numbers when the certificate does not provide them.

For my motor's number,i just cross date of birth And correct period serial number motor.
For transmission , i don t know,
With history of this car i m sure that s 2 liters engine is the og

Body shell is ready for his scond life , after cutting bad areas , controil shell and put some new and fresh metal at the right place on celette ,
