Looks ok but far far too much money for an import with big chunky indicators (post 66)

I prefer the more refined earlier ones and for that money you could find a very nice one.

That's expensive!

Otherwise great cars, I ran a 64 daily for about 4 years. Constantly paranoid about rust, doubt you find a water tight one. They look great, make sure it has all the trim and you don't want to have to replace those bumpers. Earlier ones look better as they have sweater/smaller lights, bumpers start getting too chunky on later models. I think that 69 should have the bigger bumpers?

MDR, well his missus, has a really nice lowlight.

I bought mine from Martin McGarry in 1997 http://www.karmann-ghia.co.uk/ not sure if he's still operating as the website hasn't been updated for over 10 years.

Miine at Bug Freeze, 1999, I had this repainted from powder blue to Porsche Dunkel Blue, which is oddly the colour my 911 is now.

No I think Keith had left by then or he was worried about being the company of one so handsome as me.

I recall some strange spoked chrome steels that took a hubcap but can't remember the name - very weird looking
