new wheel choice

Post by squirdan »

saw this story in Classic Porsche mag...apparently were used "in period"

I q like these and look v good value vs Fuchs period or new

i think next year I might get a set and fit slicks or TB5's on them as a 2nd set of wheels (or winter wheels and leave the rsr finish fuchs tucked up in the man-cave)

Looks like a copy of the magnesium Campagnolo wheels - they were used on a number of Porsches 'back in the day' including some RSR's

Whole thread here on IB forum with a lot of input from Group 4 Wheels. Looks high quality stuff.

Gotta love IB – a few posts in and already someone's talking about a 17in diameter version! :clown:

Wheels look good in gold.
Not as inexpensive as gold minilites though. I run 6inch gold minilites on MSA regularity events and 7 inch rears on other events. If they take a knock it is less expensive than repairing the Fuchs.
