Tipec National show 5th June (in midlands)

Post by Helen »

only just found out about this event and this year it FREE to anyone turning up in a Porsche (or replica) which as good as i'm no longer a member of Tipec.

quote:

This years show is at Hatton Country World near Warwick.

The show will follow our usual informal format within the grounds of this great family friendly venue. Courtyard shopping and an antiques centre will keep those who are not into cars entertained. The farm village with petting zoo, rides and indoor play area should satisfy the needs of our younger attendees.

There is a BBQ/Cafe and restaurants for those that don't want to bring a picnic. Short routed country walks are also available for those that would like to explore nearby Hatton Locks or the local countryside.

The show will feature:-

Trade Stands, Auto-Jumble, Concours Competition *, Cars for Sale Area, Porsche only Parking. Car Club Displays.

Displays from the 924 Club and 928.org

* Classes for Classic Pre '73, Air Cooled, Front Engined, Watercooled, Modern Post '04. Sponsored by Meguiars with class winners going forward to Best in Show.

Entry into the show and Hatton is free, there is a charge for the farm village at a discounted rate.

All welcome including replicas 8)

911uk forum have got 27 (and counting) members going so have organised a space so they can all park togeather.

i could do the same for DDK ?

its free entry so no tickets to buy in advance, just show up on the day. just add your name to this thread if your interested in coming so i know if i need to organise a space and how big.

4-5 of us make it worth my while getting there early and grabbing a spot for us. look out for the orange DDK gazebo (if its not to windy) & my 356 police car.
