Be careful when setting up your companies Website name!

All of these are legitimate companies, who didn't spend quite enough time considering how their online name might appear!

These are not made up. Check them out yourself!

1. 'Who Represents' is where you can find the name of the agent that represents any celebrity. Their Web site is:
www.whorepresents.com

2. 'Experts Exchange' is a knowledge base where programmers can exchange advice and views at:
www.expertsexchange.com

3. Looking for a great pen? Look no further than ' Pen Island .' It can be found at:
www.penisland.net

4. Need a therapist? Try 'Therapist Finder' at:
www.therapistfinder.com

5. Then there's the 'Italian Power Generator' company. Check it out at:
www.powergenitalia.com

6..'IP computer' software, there's always:

I followed a driving school car that had the web site URL :

www.upassdrivingschool.co.uk

I think the strategic use of a hyphen would have helped to clarify that they really meant "U pass driving school"

Friend of mine, let's call him "Dave Smith" set up a printing company years ago and named it "Kinnell Printing Services".
When queried about the strange choice of name he answered by saying:
"I just love picking up the phone and saying just one word -'Kinnell'"

I once interviewed and went to work for a company to package and sell a software package they wanted to call OPENIS (for Open Information System).

Amazingly even when this was pointed out they still wanted to continue with this name. Persistence is a virtue and it ended up being called OASIS.

Strangely it went on to develop a monobrow!
I love the smell of burnt rubber and hydrocarbons in the morning, it smells of......victory.
