When nature strikes a classic car auction...
High winds and rain/hail etc hit Russo & Steele classic auction at Scottsdale, Arizona the other day, wreaking havoc when the marque collapsed on the cars, causing heaven knows how much damage. Check through the photos!

Hope the insurance company doesn't try to pull the old 'Act of God' exclusion...

Incredible - some badly damaged cars there which must have had thousands of dollars wiped off their value - even when repaired !

I think that whole Act of God thing is an urban myth.
It might have existed at one time but insurance policies nowadays provide cover against Storm Tempest Flood etc, what are they if not acts of god?
Like life assurance not paying out if you commit suicide, complete balls. It does, unless of course you have lied on the application form and were in reality a manic depressive

Off topic but its quite common for suicide to be excluded for the first year or two of a life policy btw.decapman wrote:I think that whole Act of God thing is an urban myth.
