Car was bought 'blind' from Andy via DDK way back in August. I've only ever bought 2 cars blind - and both have been from Andy - he's such a trustworthy source
! A search for an engine identified a 3.0 hi-comp motor, bought off DDK-er Brembo. Relatively fresh rebuild and maybe 220-230bhp on SSI's?
So, I ended up with an engine-less car in mid-Wales, bought off a Londoner, and an engine in Kendal, Cumbria, bought off a Scotsman, with me in North Yorkshire. I like a challenge!
Just about all the pieces are now with RS911, ready to be nailed together.
Almost ready for painting - except I've changed my mind (again
) and it will be Ivory White rather then Silver.
The motor - needs a bit of a clean up.
Plan is to add ITG filters.
I already have a set of SSI's (courtesy of Mr Perkles on Impact Bumpers and DDK)
[/img]RS911 will be bringing the car to a 'ready to go. MOT'd' standard before delivery, expected mid/late January next.
There will be a 'few' bits to sort before the MOT - door 'glass' and lifting straps; C12 brakes (possibly); battery; clutch; fuelling and no doubt a zillion other things will all help fill the time during unemployment and recuperation.
