An absolutely fabulous set of photos

I was at the Beaulieu auction in 1971 (?) when that beetle back Lagonda was sold, must go to my dad's and dig out the catalogue. (If I recall correctly, the top World Record price went to a replica SSK Merc at a tad over £20K !!! )

Hmm, I see Danny Sullivan has obviously been on the Atkins diet !!

The "Mechanic" you pictured is Steve Monk, who was driving one of the 911s and is well known as a builder of SWB race 911s.
