Hard to believe that such a thing exists ........ but it does !
My experience with old 911's tells me that if you haven't found rust or rot on one of these cars , then you have not looked closely enough or it's just had a 30,000 pound restoration job done (all figures being approximate).
Well - this is the exception to the rule , and it must come from a virtual complete lack of use coupled with good storage conditions.
Ivory / Cream colour - as it left the factory , complete with nice original 911 reg number on the car since new. Very few owners - all history known.
Not my car , but I have been given permission to try and find a buyer - car is not (and probably won't be) advertised anywhere else.
I will come back later with a photo .
Car will be expensive (circa 50K pounds), and will need some time and money (little), spending on it , just to put it back on the road again (heat exchangers - probably a silencer , although it looked sound to me , and a brake overhaul due to lack of use. Last MOT I saw was dated 1990 with 8,xxx miles on it. No bodywork has been done on the car , and none is required.
Anyone seriously interested , please contact me by pm. Viewing is advised and easily organised , just bear in mind my location -eh Mike !!

This is unique if the originality and mileage can be verified from documents. Unique in this respect..........
If this is a completely original unmolested car there will never be another like it. The current owner (or new owner) should photograph this car within an inch of it's life, I mean everything from the smallest detail and then create a reference document. It will be a one off opportunity to produce something very worthwhile for future reference. I for one would be interested in producing such a document/book/archive. It should really be completed before a single thing is done to the car to bring it back to life. I would suggest this should be carried out by a small team of Porsche savvy guys.........maybe one on mechanicals, one on interior, one for bodywork etc and a professional photographer to take quality images.
I cannot think another opportunity like this will occur again. The chance must not be missed. If it does not happen I would at least like to do some photos myself but I think it should be a project which is correctly and properly managed by a team of experts. I think a book/reference guide would be a very much in demand and I for one would be prepared to pay for such information. I think others would too and not just in the UK but worldwide.
Regards
Mike
