The material has been carefully matched to the orignal bush material in terms of Shore Hardness, Static Stiffness, Dynamic Stiffness (up to 250 Hz) and Damping Factor.
The bushes will need to be installed using simple mandrels as thier pre-installed dimensions are the same as the OEM bush. This is important to ensure that comparable levels of radial compression are used, which ensures that the performance of the bush will be correct.
We will supply drawings of suitable mandrels and installation instructions
These bushes will not squeak, will not deteriorate in wet conditions and will not develop an offset.
Alternatively we can provide a complete restoration service which involves chemically stripping the control arm, checking for straightness and realigning if required.
The Control Arms will be refinished in a zinc phosphate based E-Coat with bush housings being zinc plated and passivated before re-assembly.
Turn round time is 7-10 days.
