I am restoring the wheels on my 911T and want to paint the black bits black and leave the anodised ali bits plain, does anybody sell a 'wheel mask' to prevent the black overspraying the ali?
In the old days you could get a wheel mask to refinish Rostyle wheels on MG's, they where a bit flimsy but really worked, maybe be a market waiting to be supplied!
Thanks for the advice so far.

A masking kit would be sweet. I'm not aware of anything like that though. It's not very difficult to mask off the anodised part of the wheels. After the 1st one, the rest go pretty quickly and the results are so stunning, it's worth every minute you spend. Here's a link to my wheel painting project. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/showthread.php?t=348808 There's some good tips on there.
Your project should be a lot easier as you won't have to guess where to mask off the paddles and the inside rim. If I were to do it again, I'd spring for a better quality paint than Dupli-Color, like the Rustoleum 7777.

Just use good black electrical tape - works really well. I found it helps if you turn the central heating up to a billion degrees and leave wheels and tape next to the radiator. Do the spraying outdoors cos it messes with your mind, man.
