911 S cam by andial

Post by Alan @ CanfordClassics »

Hi,

I have a pair of S cams in my car which were done by Andial. They have done just 3500 miles. I am changing them in the search to find some more HP out of my motor, I want to get a little closer to the 300 mark.

Anyway, my S cams will be coming out soon so I want to check if there is any interest on here first. These will fit in all the early cars, but if you wanted to run MFI you would need to add a rear pulley.

I am looking for £300 for them.

Thanks

Alan

Alan,

have you already chosen a cam? The RSR sprint cam from EBS racing is virtually identical to the '73 2.8 RSR cam apparently, which is what i put in Banshee. idles beautifully, pulls well from low and just gets up and boogies from 5 to 8.5
'53 356 Pre-A (a box of bits!)
'54 Okrasa/Porsche/VW special
'58 356A Super (GS-spec)
'65 Razoredge Ghia
'66 Westfalia Camper
'70 911S (2.3 ST Le-Mans spec engine)

Hi Steve,

Thanks for the advice. I am talking with John (camgrinder) in the US and he has the dyno sheet for my motor and so we are trying to match the best cam for it. The S cams tail off to quickly on this motor and thus loose some HP which is waiting to be used

I will let you know what we decide.

Cheers

Alan
