May be on holiday, shame was a great day out. Why is it such short notice though?

we are in BUT!!!!!!! if you want hotel space your buggered it's Boat show Week and just about every hotel in the Southampton Area is booked and booked at about twice the rate they woudl normally book out at.. bad weekend but good if your local..

I go have room in the garden for 3-4 tents but not Viv's tower block /mini hotel tent :lol: :lol: :lol:

Likewise I'm going to pencil this one in - will confirm nearer the time.
2006 RHD 997 Carrera (but DDK remains in my heart - also now no longer)
1972 LHD 2.4T with '73 2.4T CIS motor - gone to a new DDK home
1994 RHD 993 Carrera - gone!
1968 LHD 911L - was the Wife's but now in new hands :-(

Working on the hotel bit but it's Boat show and it's mega busy so much so hotels rent out there broom cupboards if they could!!!!!!

we are looking at places to stop on route as it were, break up the journey a bit.

we won't now be coming as been unable to find accomodation at a reasonable rate we also feel it won't be the same without the company of the other DDKers

I'll be down at Beaulieu for the Pre '74 Day.
Despite the seemingly less than enthusiastic response here, I think this event will be pretty good and quite well attended.
Let's hope for good weather.
Be nice to see Phil again too. :)
