I must admit that I thought it was going to be a few porsches in a field, but it turned out to be a really good event - having the VW/Porsche mix was great - there were some superb cars there of all types.
I was obviously dead chuffed to have the 914-6 picked out for the centre display. Sorry to all who had to listen to my waffling over the PA system!
kind regards
Rob

Car of the show for me that was. Could quite easily have used up my whole memory card on that car alone. So many amazing touches and features and the car was as straight as i've seen an early Karmann Cab'Highfield wrote:
Will post my pics up later today hopefully once i get my working day started. Nice to meet some new people from DDK too and put faces to names. And i agree that it was a great show.

I thought exactly the same thing. It should have had its own display area! Owner seemed decent enough too. Said he's had it seven years but apparently it needs the front replacing cos it was in a shunt and has the wrong front end. Im nowhere near that good to have known the rights and wrongs. It just looked great and was great to see one. Did you see all the stuff that was crammed into it?Viv_Surby wrote:Couln't believe the Heb' almost tucked away so no-one would notice!
