I've got no tickets ( I believe Mike is sorting them out) . From the web site everyone is encouraged to dress up & there is a part of the show only accessable if you are in period dress ( I assume this is where our cars are in the concours ? )

Maybe Mike knows more?

Eitherway, we're up for a bit of 70's style to match the car ;)

Just back from hols.
DDK allocated an area in the RED zone for Fri,Sat, and Sun which includes four passes which I have now received. I applied for passes based on the people who replied on this thread. I'm afraid my S won't make it as it is still at the body shop and won't be ready ( the turbo tail is proving to be a pain to fit  ). I have a pass for my RS, James S, Helen's S (I assumed you received a pass for the 356 as you entered in the concours) and Ian/Charlotte's car. The RED area is for period dress. I think that little hot pant number I have seen a photo of you in Helen will do just fine. I will leave two passes at Enoch Lodge for James and Helen/Larry before Friday. Anyone else who wishes to be on the DDK stand I suggest you contact me asap.

Regards
Mike

Helen

Got to be the first outfit don't ya think? That would be my favourite with matching umbrella and Lazza in matching shirt. I can see a prize looming for the best dressed couple. Now all I need to do is borrow JohnM's funky CLM outfit to cut a real dash (a pale imitation of John himself of course)

Regards
Mike

I might be in need of that (as per PM Mike) - I will probably be away doing the rally bits through the day but it would be nice not to have to park with the moderns in the public car park when I'm parked up :)

Ok I will leave one pass at Enoch Lodge for James and save my spare one for Johnny which I will take with me to the event. Phone me Johnny when you need it and I will tell you where we can meet to get it to you. I'll pm you my mobile number.

Mike

So you have to dress in period costume for the public car park but not the other areas?

Confusing isn't it Ian!! Where you have gone wrong ,I think, is assuming from James's map that there is only one red area ie the public parking but in fact there is another red area in the display area not marked in red on James's map but it is red on the map that was sent to me with the tickets and that is the red area quite distinct from the red area on James's map which is the red area for period dress. I think you should wear something in red.

Regards
Mike
