914 "rarely seen in the UK' ??
When was the last time you saw a 914 out on the road in everyday traffic, as opposed to at a show, or driving to one?

Last week I saw a 930 Turbo in midweek Kensington traffic, a '73 Carrera RS heading down the M3 in Hampshire, followed soon after by a 1968 912 - but not a single 914. In fact, I can't remember the last time I saw a 914 truly 'in the wild'. So, rarely seen', yes. As for a GT...

Hello all,
I've not been on this forum for ages!
Well, we've done a deal to purchase this car.
It drove superbly, and as mentioned here, seems to have been built well with all the right bits.
We've been looking for something a bit different to do European road rallies - and this fits the bill perfectly!
I'm picking it up Monday and driving from Devon up to Northants Tuesday morning :)

Great stuff! It’s a lovely, lovely car. I hope the roads are nice and greasy for a slidey drive home on Monday.

Well done! Spent a lot of time looking at that while at Williams Crawford.

(By the way they’re in Cornwall, not Devon…) 😁

Congratulations. Please bring it down to Weedon Depot, some Sunday, if you are in Northamptonshire

Great buy, well done. A fabulous car and great that it is going to be used for what James built it for. Enjoy!

Fantastic- we rally a 74 Orange 914 with a Greatworth built 2056 type 4 race engine in HERO and other UK historic rallies- ideal machine and everyone loves it too.
