Are we talking about a week end meet or a week day evening? Hove/Brighton is preferable to Littlehampton for me either way. If it's a week end then Ferry Man may join us from his Brighton retreat.

Ah so it was you Havana Henry, goes to show I can't trust my old eyes. Blimey, a notch too, I'd love to see that - ours is down in Cornwall getting some tickling at the minute.

I'd be up for a local meet up sometime - all the suggestions sound good to me - the Dyke in particular, given that the roads round there a good fun.

Bit more local to Hove sounds good to me too, Dyke etc (Royal Oak near there - big car park, decent Harveys).

Weekday evening also favourite over a weekend for me....

An evening meet on Madeira drive would be good. Lots of parking and fish and chips

I could be up for this - not a million miles away from where I live; although haven't been able to make it to the Fairmile as yet, despite only working round the corner :|

That would be 4 from the T Wells area if Marcus is allowed out.

If there are more of us, maybe we should all meet in T Wells instead ;)

But which is better, Hove or Tunbridge Wells? There's only one way to find out... :)

well seems first may be fish & chips on madeira drive - I said to Nick today when collecting car that I will check the parking in the evening but I think it will be fine

Royal Oak another great idea , especially with the outdoor grill !

Not that food is deciding this of course.

I may be able to secure a tempoary exit visa depending upon timing.

According to Via Michelin:

http://www.viamichelin.com/web/Cartes?l ... =&showHRT=

the most scenic route (shaded green on Michelin Maps) would be out of TW, through Crowborough, across Ashdown forest to Chelwood Gate and down the A275 to Lewes and thence to Brighton.
Not done that route before but on a pleasant evening that sounds like iot could be nice.

Steve Okrassa special is only down the road in Mayfield (met up with him over the weekend) and could be persuaded.
