Chances are I will have a spare bed now - not sure if anyone fancies bunking up with me (now there's an offer and a half!)

considering Mrs Mike would rather stick burning hot needles in her eyes than accompany me in the Porsche up to Scotland, there is every chance that I too will be on my own  maybe Brendan can organise a 'sad gits' lodge for us single guys, more than happy to share with you, big boy!
cheers, Mike.

That's a dry Havana each then (not being able to light it up in Scotland), some single malts, an evening of DDK talk after dinner and probably not too much polishing going on. Sounds better by the minute already.

We will be based @ FK21 8TY which is Loch Tay Highland Lodges and is a couple of miles outside a small town called Killin.

I'm on my own as well, but no offence Bootsy, there's a lot of things in life I'd like to try, but a sharing a bed with you isn't one of them   .

hi all,

As I didn't make the fairmile where a convoy may or may not have been discussed heading up north fro the London Area, Can I ask if such a convoy is indeed 'on' or nor. I'd like to hook up with folk at least part of the way, I'm in SE London so it's a fair old drive   and it would be good to hook up outside london at a services say.
I already have my rubber duck a la Convoy (good movie huh)

regards

Mike

the rough idea at the moment seems to be to break the journey with an overnight stop, so we could for instance head to Yorkshire area and meet up with the Northern boys, for the run up to Scotland the next day.

Any idea's on an overnight stop, meet up place, hot66, Ian, anyone :?:
cheers, Mike.
