What wheel spacer thickness for G-body 911 SC?

Hi DDK’ers,

I have a 911 SC and would like the wheels and tyres to be completely flush with the outside of the wing to achieve the stance and look that I’d like

I currently have 7mm spacers on the front and 20mm on the back with standard Fuchs, but the wheels are still sitting within the arch rather than in-line with the outside edge of it.

I wondered if anyone had any experience achieving the look I’m after and if so, what thickness of spacers worked well on a 911 G-body, without fouling the wing?

It depends on the camber and the width of the Fuchs.
Sounds like you have a 7” rear fuchs, a 21mm spacer is OK and shouldn’t foul. You might even get a 1-2mm more with enough camber. Also depends on the size and shape of the sidewall. I don’t think a 25mm spacer fits.

I have an 8” 911 Fuchs in the rear with a 7mm spacer and it doesn’t rub at all.

There are plenty of charts on pelican of offsets of Fuchs rims that should help you work out what fits.

I have a 7” 911 Fuchs on the front with a 7mm spacer and that’s fine too.

You would probably be better going 8s on the rear but I appreciate that’s more money - you’d still need spacers with 8s I think.

From memory I’ve got 2x7mm spacers at the rear and that’s with 8s. However I adjusted my arches with a hammer and dolly to extend them slightly - effectively continuing the curve of the wing and removing the vertical ‘lip’

Thank you for the quick replies guys, much appreciated.

All very interesting and helpful, pointing towards being able to put longer studs and a wider spacer with my 7” Fuchs. Will look into those tables and ultimately experiment.

Also going to lower the front a little so will do that first and then plan on eyeing-up the wheels at varying positions on the studs and can buy spacers to the thickest depth that seems healthy.

We will see!

I’ve been reading about adding extended studs to the rear hubs and have noted quite a few people confirming you can add the studs without removing the hub or the handbrake etc.

Can anyone confirm that is the case or not? Need to quantify how much time I need to negotiate!

If memory serves you can remove the studs with taking off the hub etc. I’m sure there is a particular spot where you can get enough clearance to get the longer studs in. This might help:
