I did my best!! But Scruffy won’t make the ball!!




Unfortunately I had ordered the wrong piston rings for my own engine. So thought I’ll build up the spare engine I have borrowed from Barnswest. Got heads together and onto the engine then noticed the flywheel was an early beetle one. So swapped mine over, but I couldn’t as dowels have been changed in the crank!

So instead I had to fix the next air cooled, the camper.

Engine and gearbox put, gearbox repaired and back together yesterday.
