Agreed, what you do know on this car is that the BIW will be of the very highest quality.

After Canford Classics sold the car it was acquired by DDKer 'squirejo' who gave regular updates on it's usage here:

thank you everyone for your help. It appears that they are two different cars. Both restored by Alan and both pretty much identical cars. Alan bought my car in about 2002, restored it about 2008 and it had 95,000miles on the clock.

PS. I got the car! And it's truly amazing. Little issues with flat battery (most likely just one of them), but hopefully nothing to worry about. It's my first classic car, so not quite equipped for it, but that's part of the fun I guess :)
