Rear quarter window trim

Hello,

Almost ready to put the quarter windows back in but need to install the chrome anodised strip on the body.

I have the different sized spacers to fit underneath and the original screws taken out of the car.

Anyone fitted these recently. My concern is the strip coming loose?

Am I best to use some kind of weather strip adhesive to secure it?

My other concern is securing it and it snags on the window?

I can remember what size spacers go were as I’m sure there is a sequence?

Any thoughts , thanks

I held mine on with 3M foam tape. Didn’t use the self tappers as didn’t want to start rust like was there before.
