Can anyone advise me how to get the rubber insert out of the sill trim when it has become solid over the years, more like a solid plastic insert
Cheers

Just checking - you are trying to slide them out of the end, not pry them out

.
Have you tried warming the insert with a hot air gun to make it softer/more pliable ?

Re: Removal of narrow type sill trim
Just need to find out who I lent my hot air gun to.
Think the hot air gun is the way to go, just tried an old piece of insert in a jug of boiling water and it became very supple.
Thanks for that suggestion
