Toolkit & Jack
Hi, I'm looking for the correct toolkit and jack for my 1970 911E.
There are several on Ebay and I know there are new (repro) ones available but how do I tell which are correct for the year?
Anyone got a spare lying in the garage?
Best,
Pete

Re: Toolkit & Jack
Pete - the 70 MY jack according to the Brett Johnson book is different to the pre 70 jacks and different to the 72 on offering. I think Karmann Konnection had some jacks on offer so worth an ask there.

Re: Toolkit & Jack
Hi Pete
A correct 70MY toolkit will contain,
- Phoenix - Porsche 9.5 x 710 fan belt
- Toolbag putty interior clasp fittings with basket weave exterior
- 10,000 volt flat blade
- 10,000 volt phillips
- P208 fan belt short pin key spanner
- 19mm straight end tapered wheel nut spanner
- Pudenz fuse pack
- 21mm Klein spark plug spanner with cheesehead top
- 10mm Allen key for spark plug spanner
- pliers flat one side, raised cutting edge the other side
- 19/22 box end ring spanner
- large script "Drop Forge Steel" spanners- 8/9, 10/11, 12/13, 14/15, 17/19
I believe the jack on the right of this photo would be correct for a 70MY 911

Regards
Mike

Pete
If your research confirms my thoughts on the jack then I do have one available exactly like the one on the right of the picture.
Regards
Mike

Hi all,
Thanks for your help.
Mike, tried to send you a PM but can't seem to get it out of the outbox. Have you received it by any chance?
Regards,
Pete
