Yep. The RS1800 was a very special motorsport model. And that one is mint and unrestored. It’s kinda the 2.7 RS of Escorts, but they made 100 or so of them, compared to ~1500 73RSs.

I cast a glance over this at the show.Im amazed at the estimate,and the final price to be honest.It gave the impression of a "worked on weekend car" If you paint cars,The first thing you tend to check is the paintwork.few areas where the substrate had shrunk, and primer/filler was visible through the colour/Lacquer.
Im sure if it was examined more closely, it would end up being a "Start again" project.
