I need to sell my LHD 70T hot rod as a friend has offered me his car, which will be a new project. As I can only squeeze one car into my garage.
Its originally a German registered 70T. I bought the car in Germany in 2013, when I was living in Poland and imported it into Poland. I then moved to Switzerland at the end of 2014 and imported it there. I relocated again back to the UK in 2019, where it has been since.

79SC 3.0SC modified to 3.2 with the original mahle cylinders bored out to 98mm and re-nikasiled + new mahle pistons running 10.3:1 compression.
GT3 oil filter, New rods, bearings, polished crank, stronger valve springs, DC60 cams. Lightweight flywheel.
SSIs and a Turbo Thomas exhaust.
Twin plugged by Neil Bainbridge and dyno'd at 260bhp with the standard exhaust and SSIs.
I have the original matching numbers engine in my garage, which is partly disassembled and can come with the car.
The gearbox is a 915 which was rebuilt last year by Jez at Carerra performance in Horsham.
External original oil loop cooler and thermostat.
Bodywork
The bodywork was done when I bought the car. It has steel 2.7RS rear flares and currently has a 2.7RS ducktail. I have an aluminium engine lid that can come with the car.
no sound deadening
Doors and bonnet are kevlar.
front bumber is an original 73S steel bumper.
Headlights are RHD H1s with the all important raised scripts.
2x original durant mirrors
Rear bumper is fibreglass, but I also have the original steel panels. for the bumper and valance.
The front window frames were polished by Nick Moss during covid. However, they were not reanodised due to the restrictions at the time.
Weight is just over 1000kg (1007 with half a tank of fuel and the spare wheel in)
wheels
Front are original 7Rs, rears are 8x15. The spare is a 6x15 with heart. The wheels were restored by Art wheels in Strasbourg in 2019.
Tyres are Avon CR6ZZ. 185/70 Front and 215/60 Rear.
Interior
Deser Sport S seats. with black corduroy inserts. New 2024
380mm original RS steering wheel with a repro hockey puck horn
RS lightweight door panels
Original Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio. Refurbished and bluetoothed by Chrome London. I replaced the under dash speaker with their high output speaker.

Suspension
Elephant racing polybronze bushes all round
I replaced all other bushings, ball joints and other rubber bits over the last 2 years
Suspension parts have been replated / reanodised or powder coated over the last 2 winters
Front brakes were restored winter winter 2023/2024.
Steering rack was rebuilt winter 2024.
Otherwise the brakes and suspension are standard.

Clearly its a bit of a niche, but its been fastidiously maintained over the years. However, it has some expensive parts on it, and a very expensive engine, so I'm looking for £75K
