5 years later .... and I'm back online

Well, hello again

Joined 5 years ago, went to Spa & Classic Le Mans with Sam & SJM then covid hit ... and I faded away

BUT now I'm back .........

What's changed? Older, fatter then thinner then fatter and thinner, even less hair, don't seem to be any wiser

Car wise - see original link then in the lst 5 years, I have:
Sold 2010 997.2 C2S and bought 2010 997.2 Turbo S - holy shi-ite, what a car!
Sold boxster race car
Sold 1989 Silver 911 3.2 G50 (sold yesterday!)
still got Karmann Ghia - rotting away in storage ... now a retirement project
still got front 1/2 of the Testarossa with Sam

..... and the reason why I'm back ..... just picked up my unbelievably gorgeous 1995 American Speed Yellow Porsche 993 (with 28K miles on the clock) from Southampton docks on Monday.

I've owed this car for 5 years but kept it in storage in America until hit 30 years old and import tax dropped from 30% to 5%. Now that I have it, I cant believe how gorgeous she is ... and now mildy regretting keeping in US for 5 years - should have just paid the tax and enjoyed it for the last 5 years ... but I am from Newcastle and cheap as chips so this was the best financial strategy.

She's now with Paul Stephens getting UK homologation work done + probably some engine work (leaking oil left bank) + needs suspension sorted out as stance is all wrong, then a few bits and pieces .... but I'm hoping it will be ready for DDK weekend #2 in midJuly, which I've already signed up for.

Car is going on @FKZ993 ...which matches my 997 Turbo plate of @FKZ997. It's pronounced Fooks like the wheels ... honest.

All for now - some photos of the 993 below and look forward to getting more involved (again)

Hey James --- Correct, only 3 years since CLM in 2022 in Testarossa with Sam, but what i meant was 5 years (ish) since posted on this forum.
Kind of really regretting not coming with you to CLM this year .... but will be at the next one in the 993
