Carpet search advice
Hello, I’m trying to find a good quality carpet set for my 69 2.0e the best I’ve come up with so far is the salt and pepper at Heritage for £1050 but the sample they sent me was thinner than I expected. Anybody know of another choice please? Also I need boot space carpet but see either 3 or 4 piece sets, which is correct? Many thanks, Jason.

Carbone's carpet sets are excellent. Not cheap anymore, though...

I’ve used Lakewell and Cabrio.de both supply good sets.

I bought mine from Southbound and it is very good. My restorer said it was good to fit too.

Re: Carpet search advice
Your car would originally have come with 4 Perlon pieces in the front compartment.
The 4th piece that's often missing/removed is the narrow vertical section that goes across the front below the slam/latch panel.

Re: Carpet search advice
I ordered the boot carpet from partworks in Germany to end with, 4 piece with sawn in pocket, very happy with the quality, would highly recommend. Next to sort the main carpet, probably start with a sample from southbound. Jason.
