73 Fuchs 8J Wheels - Rare or not?

Post by Prav »

Hi, hoping that I can get more info on the following pair of Fuchs wheels that I have. Part number is 911.361.020.12
They are 8J rims, and dated 10/73. From Google research, this part number was used from 73 into the 80, with some years being valuable (early turbo 75 ish) and later years not really.

Was therefore hoping that somebody could advise where these rims stack up, and a bonus would be an approx value as I'm looking to list them. They have been refurbished to a high standard - finish is polished and not anodised

Thanks in advance

.

As you stated, this version of the 8x15in Fuchs wheel was made for several years so not rare.

A date code of 10/'73 would be of most interest to the owner of a '74 2.7 Euro Carrera (mfi) but they would probably want to factor in the cost of having them restored to original (anodised) finish.
