Rear bumper rubber body to bumper seal
Hello, seen a few pictures lately and wondered what is actually correct?
Does the rubber sit inside and underneath ?
Or with the edge of the seal on the outer edge of the rear wing?
What’s correct?

Re: Rear bumper rubber body to bumper seal
I’d be interested to know on this - never been happy with the fit of my seals
The simple things you see are all complicated
I look pretty young but I'm just backdated yeah

Yeah hi Gary, hope you don’t mind me using your photo. It’s a good example

Of course notleedurrant73 wrote:Yeah hi Gary, hope you don’t mind me using your photo. It’s a good example
The seal ends up there because of the flange on the rear quarter, so if it’s engaged properly that’s where it goes.
The moulding on the end isn’t pleasing for me as it looks like the wrong shape, but again that’s what you get and these are genuine (albeit new not original) Porsche parts

Mine are like Gary's, 73T Coupe.
It is easy to fit them set back so you cant see them.
Not sure what is right, but i don't care much about originality on the car!
My seals all were new from OPC in 1989.
