Re: Goodwood Revival 2024
if you really wanted to splash out you could get the march enclosure. But like everything the more you add the more almost eye wateringly expensive it gets. Most important thing is obviously the dressing up though

Re: Goodwood Revival 2024
I’ve been for the last ten years. My recommendations would be:
1. Spend Friday walking round and seeing stuff. You’ll want to watch the racing on Saturday and Sunday.
2. I would (and do) get grandstand tickets for the Sat and Sunday. The racing is brilliant - fantastic cars racing for all they’re worth.
3. Dress up! I’m really not one for that sort of stuff, but it really makes for the Revival - you’ll be out of place without!
4. Bring a radio with headphones to hear the commentary on the racing - grandstands have big screens, but you won’t hear the commentary without a small FM radio.
Paddock passes, you’ll need to scrounge from a GRRC member, but even without them you can go around all the other paddocks (about 60% of the car racing) so not vital to see the other 40% - they are the rarer cars though! You’ll find enough to do this year without worrying about passes.

Indeed
Re: Goodwood Revival 2024
Not really a crash, just tickled the Amcro fence, but once we jacked the wing from the wheel and with the help of Jonathon, secured the bonnet, managed to compete the full weekend.
one of my favourite photographs and definitely one of my favourite weekends at Doune though still get the fear at Garden gate in the 911 & 356 all part of the fun for me .
This was about 4 or 5 years ago. The car was repaired Ian, shortly afterwards and is still driven often, and very spiritedly in all weathers, for me I forget all about her slight imperfections on the outside and totally enjoy the sound, feel and smell of her gorgeous wee engine.
