Reims: photoshoot /parking at the Paddock banned?

Post by 911hillclimber »

According to Hagerty, it is banned to stop at the famous paddocks on the D26/ Gueux.

This was set in 2022.

Is this true considering the recent tour DDK made? It seems the ban is on GROUPS of cars, not solo vehicles.

I think as long as you are respectful it’s fine.

Nobody there at all apart from a few young lads taking photos when I dropped by after Classic Le Mans last year. All the TIPEC group dropped by at some point. A few quick photo opportunities and move on. No issues at all.

Wouldn’t worry about it … we didn’t come back that way Gary went by himself .

As said , think it’s the big groups they worry about

Thanks, it's Mrs hillclimber who gets 'tense' about these things.
Seems the locals in the village got fed-up with red neck behavior of cars, speeds, noise etc etc which has set the action.

Hope to get there soon, been about 30 years since the last time.

It was fine when I went. Go around the back of this building and you can climb up to the top via concrete steps Image be
