Classic Autowerks ‘Ultimate Shift Rod Bushing’
At the recommendation of Ian Comerford in my 915 Short Shift thread back in October, I contacted Jamie Novak at Classic Autowerks (https://instagram.com/classicautowerks? ... MyMTA2M2Y=) about his Ultimate Shift Rod Bushing by email (best way to contact him) and this is what he said about it:
“The new bushing is made from a self-lubricating, Delrin and designed as a true guide bushing. The bushing was sized for minimal play and the length was extended to 40mm. This confines the shift rod to only slide F/R and also rotate for gear selection. The factory bushing is internally radiused and allows for movement along several other axes. It is installed without grease to prevent dirt buildup. It is also much more heat tolerant that existing bushings that tend to crumble after about 2-3 years. In summary, a more modern design. Fits 911, 912, some 356 and some 914.
I can ship to the UK but it is almost $40. Unfortunately, international shipping is not easy here. If you are still interested I can make it happen.
Btw, I can ship multiple bushings (probably 12) for the same price. If you want spares or have any friends I am happy to combine.
Bushings are $30 each. Just let me know. “
For those that ‘do’ Instagram, I found these posts on Jamie’s Instagram page which provide some useful images / video:

I’m intending to buy 2 but if anyone else is interested I can get up to a dozen shipped for the same $40 cost.
Let me know and I will place an order once I know how many we’ve got.

I’ve also emailed Jamie and was also intending to buy 2.
I’d be happy to join the group buy for 2 if you’d let me?
Thanks
