Its getting to that very exciting time where the guys at Sportwagen are talking about a colour coat!!
When my car was media blasted, it lost its body plate on the A-post....was there when it left home but not there when it came back....
I am getting a replacement fitted, but I'm not sure which one it should be....vin 119300908 - a '69 B-Series car built very late 1968 and UK registered in early '69.
The book of words shows two plates for this period, one for 1968 with round corners and one for '69 and '70 with square corners - I am suspecting the latter, but if anyone has a car of similar age/vin, could you have a quick check for me...
Photos of options are??
Thanks Matthew

Re: Details details
The hardest part i found was finding an accurate replica of the paint tag. Printed font, letter spacing, size of letters, stamping font etc. In the end, i bought a couple of replacements, didnt like any of them so i used the original which i had damaged when removing it. I decided the damage wasnt bad enough to warrant an inaccurate replacement....good luck
