Hopefully an easy one to solve!

Post by NigelH »

Have managed to pick up a pair of sunvisors for my 71 911. It's got a mint roof lining so don't really want to make a load of holes looking for the fixing points. Can anyone give me rough dimensions as to where they are, or even better can anyone email me a photo?

Thanks

Nigel

Nigel, you should be able to either use a pin through the 'vent' holes in the fabric, or just press with (clean  ) finger. When I put the liner in, I made sure I could find the holes.

Hope you, family and car are well :) .

Thanks Barry we're all doing fine (despite the weather).

Can you remember whether they mount on the roof (I assume somewhere near the corner) or on the windscreen pillar. I had a very quick feel around this afternoon, but couldn't feel anything (could be cause my hands were numb with the cold though!).

Hello, Nigel.

They mount to the roof inner rib, right in the corner.

I'll measure the holes tomorrow to put you in the right place..

Kind regards
David
