Apologies OP. I tried to help and offered one of these for £365 (a reduction on my eBay listing, and what it cost me), and I know I originally said I’d post out on Tuesday, which with my sick 5 week old newborn turned out to be Thursday collection. I then had to update you and apologise again that Paisley freight failed to collect. I even offered to try and drive it to you friend direct as a fallback.

Clearly my apologies were not adequate, which is a shame in a community of such great, helpful and understanding Porsche enthusiasts - so I have issued a refund in full. Hopefully another community member is happy and able to help a new joiner like you out. Apologies again for failing to deliver on what I aimed to do.

It’s always a shame to see these kind of discussions taken into a forum; Not the purpose of a forum and most certainly not my style (life's too short), but alas, here we are.

Not sure what's there to be upset about: As a "new joiner" on this forum, I made a payment of GBP365 (excl. exchange fees) in good faith through PP Friends & Family.
I also explained the arrival deadline to have it join a planned shipment abroad by a friend, who I informed already two times incorrect, due to the informations I received (without any further context).
Then just asking what the plan was how to make this happen. That's all, nothing more. Next thing, payment is refunded (which is now 2x exchange fees on my account..) and a reply posted in this thread.

For the record: I didn't turn down any offer to receive the wheel I paid for in good faith; Why would I ?

Anyway, after 20 years of being member of several Porsche fora (whatever that means) there's always a "first" for something I guess...

(btw posting this for "reader's sake", not to start a public altercation. Got my refund (albeit with double exchange fees), not the wheel. End of story "carry on folks, nothing to see here")
