912 - Sympathetic refresh

Some updates here, a few big ones on the way !

Door repair welded up, primered and now ready for some fresh single stage Polo red (custom mix due to OG paint fading)

Staying on the door theme...New door cards made. More houndstooth on the way
















Window crank roller repair/update

Wood dash panels installed...Radio, switches and dials cleaned up (amazing what abit of toothpaste can do)









Glovebox repair in a Blue Peter style....Brown paper bag Papier Mache ....It'll age nicely over the next 50 years !

And the small matter of the engine going back together.....More to come on this, but just by the fact that the main seal had all but disintegrated shows just how overdue the rebuild was

Bit concerned about those right angle brackets for the seat belt receivers though - they look like they would just buckle if put under any stress.
