Porsche technical spec book

Post by 210bhp »

Every early 911 owner should have their specific year technical specification booklet sitting in the glovebox. Invaluable information all in one place.

This is for 69-71 2.2 litre models T E and S. An original printed March 31st 1971, not a modern repro. Nothing torn or missing, just 50 years of patina.

£45 plus UK shipping only (SOLD)

These little booklets contain an unbelievable amount of information on the subject models & are the source used (but, sadly, often incorrectly copied) by all of the more commonly quoted 'reference' books ...

I'm still amazed at the number of (even long-term) owners who don't know of the existence of these booklets.

I used mine extensively while bolting my engine back together. I take it as gospel and assume Bentley and ‘Wayne’s book’ are wrong

Hi Alan. I have PM'd you. Do they definitely cover the RS as the covers seem to suggest 72/3 T/E/S only (no mention of the RS).

Thanks

Thanks Feroz. I would probably need two to cover the fact that my car is 1969/901 box but 2.4S motor!

I have sent you a note . Yes for those interested , the RS is covered. Page one inside lists it as a model covered , and lots of the pages inside have a different column for "Carrera 2.7" Hope this helps somebody .... there are probably lots of editions by now ... I don't know
cheers
Alan
