You can supply your own pics or they will recommend a photographer. As all my photos ever look like poor holiday snaps, I decided to go with their recommendation who was very good.

Yes, that well-known '55 Porsche with a Subaru water-cooled engine ...

Never mind all that. It’s got 230bhp and weighs 600kg. I somehow doubt it handles and steers like an RS / Caterham / Elise but I bet it’s still fun.

Sadly, but more importantly, that is a public statement of fraud in that while the DVLA inspector has agreed it's a 1955 Porsche, he has been given wrongful information to allow him to make the judgement. There are already cases of DVLA reading ads like this and pulling V5c reg documents the moment the vehicle changes hands and the new owner sends off the paperwork... Unless this car is sold out of the country, there is likely to be a whole world of hurt awaiting a new owner.

If I was in the market for a 308, I'd be all over the dry sump carburettor car James May is selling.......

That dealer always seems to price their cars sensibly. On the occasions I’ve toyed with getting a Ferrari it felt like that would be the place to go.

not to mention the liability implications if your insurance abandons you after a shunt. There's a Speedster replica out there on a VW pan registered as a 356 (coupe) the previous owner broke when they were worthless.

Would a buyer really pay a premium because you got one over DVLA?

I'd love a go in it on a dry track though!
maverick
noun

2. an unbranded calf or yearling.
Origin mid 19th century: from the name of Samuel A. Maverick (1803–70), a Texas rancher who did not brand his cattle.

It's come down £5k in the last month and given it still hasn't sold, perhaps it needs to come down further. it looks expensive compared to others, although JM's ownership might make it worth a premium?

It will all be on condition, but it’s a little leggy for a 308 at that price. I would have thought with a little negotiating it’s still a good buy, given no rust or head issues.
cheers, Mike.

Nigel’s RS now shown as ended unsold, but I can’t see the bid history.
I saw it had reached 440-ish earlier on.
Anyone see the high bid? Just in case one of us finds a few pennies down the back of the sofa this week.

Ended at 463 (plus premium which I think is 6) due to a little flurry of bids at the end Richard.
