Question for your Bootsy.....do you actual to any work?????

I just don't know where you get the time to do everything! What you have done in a couple of weeks would be a whole winter's program for a guy like me. Maybe you could come to Scotland and do a couple of odd jobs with my car?

p.s. This post is so late cos I'm just back from work :(

Oh yes, I do work. I have to to pay for people to work on my cars

I do as much as I can at weekends myself but my time is limited these days!

A further update

as staed before:

Paintwork done,

Seats in,

New rear tyres fitted today and front end lowered.

Played around with the stance and now very happy. Went for a brief run tonight and love the new seats and position. Likewise I like the brakes having had them adjusted etc.

Still a fair bit of finishing off to do and of course a few further track esque visual things to sort.

A couple of pics albeit in the dark.

New seats and carpet (rear deletion carpet set in but need to finish off here and there)

The paintwork mainly consisted of sorting a few bubbles here and there - especially around the headlights.

However, for this year I am decalling (is there such an act) it up for fun.

Pictures like this make me think further - I hate understated!

Image

Probably more along the lines of this for this year though...

Gumballs, a stripe here and there etc. - still thinking!

looking good! great choice of seats really comfortable, but you might what to think about harnesses to keep you in them on a track.

So are you going with green carrera decals, and wheel centers?
cheers, Mike.

I can see what you mean about the harnesses after a brief blast last night.

I'll be staying with the blue. Next year I'll probably go for detailed wheels and black (Porsche R Style decals) - I like to tchange things regularly!

Looks wicked Bootsy

Love the stance , love the interior

By detailing on the wheels do you mean polished spokes? - I love that look as you know.

BTW got the decals, thanks - they look brill. I'm at home the rest of the week so tomorrow will phone round to get someone to fit them - presumably they will 'just' peel off the backing and stick them on?

Cheers

Mark

Yes, they do just peal off - there's an art to it though!

I may polish the rim of the wheels in the next couple of weeks.

By detailing I meant black and silver similar to yours. That will happen if I decide to go for a further makeover!

Sladey,

I use Zentrum for all my porsche worries. Mike's body man is an old fellow who seemed at first a bit weird but when i noticed his craftmanship with my ductail spoiler and with various cosmetic items on the bodywork etc, all i can conclude is that he is very very good.

Telephone: 0115 9613 911

prices arent that bad and although Zentrum's bread and butter are the newer Porsches, they are surprisingly open and quite knowledgable with the older 911's.

take care,

After two days solid work finishing all the little bits I wanted to and installing the rear carpet kit I polished and detailed the car and went for a nice long drive this morning - boy did it feel good!

Worth all the effort and money and ready for some nice Spring days and Volksworld!

Still going to have some race stripes put on it for this year.

A few fianlly finished pics from this morning.

To recap:

Out with the old interior
New carpets including rear seat deletion kit
Nurgburgring Seats
Appbiz RS Door Panels
Lowered front End
New rear higher profile tyres
Paintwork to a few blisters (front wings and near sill)
