Bonnet and Engine deck lid to suit G Body narrow body coupe

Post by Diesel76 »

Hi, I am importing a 76 coupe and the bonnet and deck lid are heavy patina (I want to keep them this way) so would like a replacement (oem pref) second hand front n rear lids. Either collectable from Bicester scramble (4th Oct) or within 75 miles of Basingstoke.

I don't mind colour because I will paint however prefer them not to be rusted out!

Thanks!

In case you hadn't spotted the older thread Stuttgart Classica was selling a lot of panels not too long ago - might be worth a try.

I’ve got a spare bonnet.
Had a lot of filler on it but when I started removing it, it doesn’t seem to need it although it does have some small dents. I haven’t stripped it fully yet and have used it to test spray some paint.
I’m near Fleet so around 10 miles if you want to look at it.

Hi Peter, many thanks for your kind offer, I shall pop up to Stuttgart Classics and have a rummage first to see what colours he has to avoid painting it straight away.
