RS lightweight seats
Finally got the right seats for the car! Went in like a dream and really look the part. Definitely need to keep the Nurbergring's for longer runs though, as they are soooo comfortable.

cheers, Mike.

thanks guys, yes they are from RSL classics in Germany, Roman there very helpful and great to deal with. Seats beautifully made and the frames and runners bolted straight in with no modifications or drilling, great!
Everyone did warn me though that these seats, although original for the car, are not very comfortable, minimal padding, so very hard and narrow fit, would not want to go far in them, hence keeping the Nurbergrings.
Going to try for FIA papers soon so will have to get yet another seat for that!

seats
How do they compare aginst the seats Mark Waring is selling at WWclassics. I am looking at the Rallye st seats and wondered if you had chosen those over these.

Hi James, yes I looked at the ST seat but went with the RSL one as they are the exact replicas for the car, which is a lightweight rep to M471 spec.
I already had the Nurbergring seats so will use them for long runs, the main difference being that the RSL seat has no springing, just fiberglass shell a thin layer of foam then the nylon cover.
The Bielstein range, the ones Mark sell, including the Nurbergring and the ST are all very well made and very comfortable and great value for money, but do sit in an ST before buying to make sure you fit!
