Cayenne Insurance

Post by Tony »

I know there are others on here owning one of Porsches trucks so I was wondering who do you go for insurance. Our 955 turbo is up for renewal at the end of the month and as mileage is now under 5k a year I wonder if I can get it on some sort of classic policy?

Try 'By Miles' insurance.
Flat fee (i.e. parked up) then a pay per mile for usage....

If you progress then I can give you a referral link that will give us both some 'free' miles

My wife's truck is insured through Classicline 01455 639000. I started using these guys when I had a street rod which as you can imagine was far from standard. They are the preferred insurers for the National Street Rod Association and currently I have the 356, 911 and Cayenne insured with them. I won't bother to quote you prices as there is so much variance but the most expensive is the truck at 350. Hope you get sorted.

Our Cayenne is insured through ClassicLine and renewal just come through at £380, way better than any comparison sites.
In fact all mine are Classicline with the exception of the RS clone which Heritage always come up trumps on that one.

Alas ClassicLine won't quote unless I have a classic insured with them. Still looking, Mannings still ahead.
