Should I bring to Greatworth ??

Post by PeterK »

From my '79 SC, I have the following parts no longer needed, but I do need the space. Any interest ? - should I bring all or some of them to Greatworth this weekend for perusal & offers ?
Peter

6pin CDI - tested and working
SSI type engine oil pipes (pair)
Engine oil pipes
T/stat - poor / damaged threads, but I planned to fit thread protectors from Pelican (bought some, just can't find them right now  )
Oil lines (pair front to rear) & trombone - trombone brazed on
Steering rack protector plate (new) - bought one of the full length jobbies instead
Steering rack protector plate - well rusty but useful as a template if you want to make a new one (or just repair)
Engine lid cable (new) - managed to buy two by mistake
Whale tail type spoiler (needs fiberglass repair)
OSF front wing - all stripped, rust repaired & now in epoxy - need filling and painting
NSF wing - needs small rust repairs - £50 - all to charity
Bonnet - partially stripped, no rust but needs tidying & painting
Rear 3 way fuse panel
Front 3, 8 & 10 way fuse panels - either the 8 or 10 way panel has a broken terminal
Front fusebox cover plate (the plastic bit)
Front bumper - good
Rear bumper - some delamination in front of silencer
Rear valance - good, except modified to take twin exhausts I think
Rear bumper lower wing quarters - good
Standard SC steering wheel
Momo boss - early 911 ?
Porsche large washer bottle
Porsche fuel vent tank

And because 'while I'm in there I might as well buy new', I also have....
CV joints - worn but can be reversed for new life
Bilstein strut inserts x 2 & rear shocks x 4
Brake disc pairs - front & rear
1 new handbrake shoe (Rose Passion sell them singly but I thought that I was buying a set  )
Clutch friction and pressure plates
Set (6) 3.0 pistons and cylinders - Alusil, approx 70k miles - some pitting on top of what was No's 4 & 6 due to broken head studs & resultant leaking

I've also got some disc brake pads (& handbrake shoes if I can find them in time) if anyone wants a used set with lots of meat left, some engine & g/box mount rubbers that could still work and rear light units that are not healthy at all

I need a pair of headlamp reflectors & a pair of front indicator lenses (probably plus lots of other things that I don't yet know I need but will do when I see them on Sunday  )
