CLM - DDKers travel plans

Post by hot66 »

I'm sure there are a few groups of ddkers heading to Classis LeMans in July ... this is the place to put your travel plans especially if you want to drive down with other DDK'ers 8)

From my point of view , we have a group of DDKers ( approx 10/12 cars ) who are meeting enroute on thursday 2nd July for a few beers and an over night stay in HonFleur before cruising down to LeMans on the Friday morning. If anyone wants to join us all you are more than welcome as the more the merrier. The two groups that are meeting up have the following travel plans :

Group1 - EuroTunnel :

OUT : 7:50am Thursday 2nd July
RETURN : 16:20 Monday 6th July

Group2 - Hull-Zeebrugge

OUT : 18:30 Weds 1st July
RETURN : 19:00 Monday 6th July

Thursday 2nd OVERNIGHT :

HonFleur

Both groups are meeting at HonFleur and staying at a hotel for Thursday night. Hotel is very reasonable price. I won't publicly post exactly where we are staying for obvious reasons but if you want to join us all, pm me & I'll give you the hotel details.

Yes the fri morning chicane pic is no more due to earlier road closures ... we managed a meet at Mulsanne corner parking last time though .... need to make sure we all have the correct parking passes though

I have the same ferry bookings as Group 2 so will see you guys there. I am travelling with 2 other cars who haven't bought their classic yet so no idea what they will be in. We are driving straight to Le Mans though as we have a hotel booked, not sure on our route, so post it up once a decision has been made. I know the A routes are quickest, but also boring!

On sunday we are coming back via an overnight in Bruges.

Being the important person that you are, I suppose you have people to do that some of mundane stuff for you.
