Two Boxster surprises...
First was Engine Coolant light came on.
Took 3 pints to get the level right.
There may be trouble ahead.
Second was looking for front brakes for the car.
Design911 come in at about £280 for a pagid kit.
OPC quoted £670....just for parts.

My Skoda Superb needs front brakes, quoted by my very local garage Brembo, supplied and fitted for £261.

Swapped 40IDF Webers for pair of rebuilt/refreshed 44IDFs from Gary Berg in SoCal – what a difference! Great idle, no backfiring on the overrun and much better throttle response. Love it!

Check the boot carpet Graham. It is fairly common for coolant caps to fail and for coolant reservoirs to crack...

It's dry Wayne.
I am getting advice from Boxster owners over on PCGB, so will start with the blue cap on the engine, but not sure if the 987.2 suffers from the split tank, worth a good look for sure.
I fear it is the alloy tubes by the rack...
Modern Porsches have weak spots in their design.

Police just banged on the door at 11:20 to say our Targa has been torched. RIP #038. 2nd garage this week in the area. Not that we could of moved it as the starter relay needed changing. Not our month
