I think I'll probably go for the Poole-Cherbourg 7.30 Thurs and 11.30 Mon crossings too.

Although it is very tempting to drive a bit further to Portsmouth to tag on to a 20 car Porsche convoy - that'll be quite a sight. And there is the singer on the boat too.

Whichever route I take I'll have a spare seat if anyone's interested. Leaving from near Bristol airport.

so book parking, camping, and admission (grandstand)...any others things I need to book in advance?

Add me to the list, although I am travelling on the Friday night. A mate of mine is coming from NZ and we're doing a bit of a European tour: Goodwood on the Fri, Classic Le Mans Sat/Sun, Modena Mon-thurs (for Ferrari, Lambo, Pagani, Ducati & MV) via Mille Miglia Brescia route, Thurs avo over the Alps following the Italian Job route into Germany, Porsche Factory visit Fri, Nurburgring Sat, home sunday. 3,000 miles on open megaphones :alien:

'58 356A Super (GS-spec)
'65 Razoredge Ghia
'66 Westfalia Camper
'70 911S (2.3 ST Le-Mans spec engine)

I've just booked my Portsmouth - Caen ferry crossings. I'm going over on the Thursday night ferry & coming home with ya'll on the Monday 17:00.
Will now book with ACO & await the PCGB tickets.
