What a fantastic photo...a different age, of course. Combines a favorite car and a favorite airliner...DC8 always seemed a bit sleeker than the B707, although those were beauties, too. United were still flying these, although likely with quiter engines retrofitted, into the mid 80's....I remember one from LAX to OHare, orange/red seats, yards of legroom, hot stewardesses, gin and tonics...

In June 1965 Racing Tream Holland departed for Canada on a KLM flight to take part in a motor race in Mont Tremblant. Driver Ben Pon Jr came second on the track and drove a Porsche 904. David Van Lennep came fourth, also in a Porsche 904.

It's a car I haven't seen before.
I chatted to the owner and recommended he look in on DDk and assured him of a warm reception.

A really lovely 'bent screen' at Goodwood today. The day was enhanced by a lack of rain and some sunshine.

I think that 964 backdate might be from here:
http://www.911-retro-works.co.uk/964_conversion.html
Not exactly pretty. Would defo look better with wider arches.
964 C2 Targa. 205 1.6 GTi. Testarossa. Fisher Fury Fireblade. Motorhome. Motorbikes. Scooters. Pushbikes. Threadbare Saucony Peregrines. Dog. Human relations and friends. 97.5%-built house.

^ Them's the fellas. They often have cars on show at the Lotherton Hall Porsche show.
Arches looked plenty wide enough with stretched tyres.
